If you take a closer look at the location and the historical development of the Fürthermoar Alm, it is actually a miracle that it stands in its place today.
The ancestors of the Aberger-Dick family fought for their alp despite all adversities and with a lot of assertiveness. Now it is at your disposal for a cosy stop and takes you back to the time when alpine pasture farming was created in the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Groups are of course very welcome. Upon request, Altbauer Toni will take you on a guided tour of the power station and/or alpine pasture, followed by a meal on the alpine pasture. Ask for our menu. We will be delighted to serve you.
First move - then have fun
Hikers and mountaineers love our traditional, down-to-earth dishes, where they can really "taste" originality. After long days in the mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park, your power will return to your tired bones within a flash. Indulge in homemade specialities facing the mountains. If you want to experience something very special, you can also order menus and deliciously prepared regional specialities in advance. If you don't want to make your way to the valley afterwards, or if you feel like a romantic night at the alpine pasture, then spend it with us on the alpine pasture. You will certainly not regret spending the night under a starry sky in alpine nature.

You can buy our homemade delicacies such as bacon, syrup, cheese and many more in our Alp-Shop. Either to enjoy at home or as a gift for your loved ones.
Our organic herbal salt and herbal tea are exclusively produced for us according to our recipe by the Hollersbach Herb Garden. The herbs for our syrups grow at Fürthermoar Gut and are collected by me and my girls.
Long tradition and local products
As old as the buildings’ walls are the recipes based on which we are still producing our Pinzgauer specialities. We almost exclusively use products from our own agriculture and from our own production on the Alm. On our alp, you can see what it was like in the past and what turbulent times have passed. Being rooted in tradition is particularly successful when food tastes the same it did in years gone by - and let's be honest - didn't it taste a little better back then? We want it to stay that way. With high-quality products from our own farm, it is not only possible to trace the origin of our food. The respect and values of the Aberger-Dick family also flow into the production of our food. Enjoy cheese, bread, bacon and dairy products from our own production. If it was a little too much of a good thing, we will serve you a homemade schnapps for digestion.
